Fourd Performance was born in mid 2009 as a replacement name for Pozformance Motorsport Developments. The name change came about when a new workshop was bought to cope with the ever expanding work load and product lines, with the change of address a fresh name seemed fitting.

Fourd Performance has and will continue to build on what Pozformance started in 2002 with new distributorships like Tony Thompson Racing being secured in 2009 to add to the list that already includes Cosworth, Titan Motorsport, Kent Cams, Lotus Cortina Spares Centre and Rally Design. We are also stockist of CP pistons, G & S valves, the largest range of ARP fasteners to suit English Ford engines in Australia, Carrillo rods, ACL race series bearings, our own range of steel crankshafts and con rods along with all your other engine, gearbox, diff, brakes and steering and suspension needs whether it be for road, rally or race.

Whilst parts are an ever increasing part of Fourd Performance the main stay of the business has always been the building and maintenance of high performance English Ford engines, sub assemblies and cars. The connection to English Fords started 16 years ago when at 17 Paul bought his first car, a 2 door 1963 Mk1 Cortina 1500 deluxe, a year later the first race car was bought and a few years after that the afterhours work became too much and Pozformance was started.

At Fourd  Performance we are firm believers  that you are far better to excel in a few areas than to be good in a lot and it’s this single mindedness and a lot of research and development at the track, on the flow bench and on the dyno that allow us to supply what it is you actually need not something that just looks good in catalogue.
